BUILDER
Tyler Brooks
Tyler Brooks has designed and installed dozens of home golf simulators, from $700 net-and-radar corners in a garage to fully finished basement bays with overhead camera units. He plays to a 4-handicap and treats his own bays as the test bench.
He started Sim Golf Bay because most simulator content online is either a spec dump or a thinly disguised ad for the most expensive package. For every launch monitor he reviews, he hits real shots across the bag, checks the numbers against a known reference where he can, and judges how the unit behaves in a normal-sized room rather than a showroom. He leads every guide with the cheapest setup that is genuinely good enough, because for a lot of golfers that is all they need. See exactly how we test.
